Groups
and Meetings
A
new "Groups and Meetings"
window consolidates 3 sections of the
previous version of Faithworks –
Small Groups, Meeting Attendance /
Tagging, and Special Purpose Groups
– and includes the addition of more
features.
The
extra features include:
-
The
ability to classify a group into 2
categories (Group Category 1,
Group Category 2).
-
The
ability to store quantative
statistics of group meetings such
as Attendance numbers, and other
customized activities to suit your
church (eg. Healings, Collection,
Salvations...etc). This let’s
you know what’s happening in
your groups.
-
The
ability to have cell group leaders
relay the details of a group
meeting to the church, by using
the Internet. You can experience
the feedback page by clicking
here.
Statistics
You
can now gain statistical information
on activity in cell groups, and have
choices of categories, grouping on
months or days.
It
is also possible to store Faithworks
statistics on more than 4 status’s.
Improved
Data Integrity
The
drop down lists used in Faithworks
(ie. Those viewable through the
Utilities screen) have now been linked
to the tables that use them. This
means that it is not possible to
delete a word from a drop down list,
that is currently in use. In previous
versions of Faithworks, deleting a
word could be possible by entering the
tables directly.
Also,
it is now possible to update related
records if a change is made to the
spelling of a word. For example, if 30
people had been given a status of “Memmber”,
and then you realized there was a
spelling mistake, no problem. By using
the Utilities, and selecting the
‘Status’ list, you only need to
change the spelling of the word
“Memmber” to “Member” and all
30 people will have the new spelling.
This
does not happen in earlier versions of
Faithworks.
People
Search
This
section has been modified to
incorporate the new Groups section.
You are able to choose individual
Groups, or filter by Group Categories.
